National HIV Testing Day is annually held on June 27. Health organizations are encouraged to offer testing on that date. WAN regularly offers free anonymous HIV testing on that date at the Olde Towne Medical Center in Williamsburg.

An Evening with Friends fundraiser was held on Saturday, April 26, 2008. Five people hosted dinner parties for friends. The evening culminated in a champagne and dessert reception at the Williamsburg Unitarian Universalist Church.
