Our Client Services Program is here to help individuals
living with HIV/AIDS obtain services and assistance
to make their lives healthier and happier. The WAN Client
Services Coordinator helps clients access services provided
directly by WAN as well as the many services provided
by other community agencies.
Here is a list of some of the forms of assistance the
Williamsburg AIDS Network Client Services Program offers.

- Help in locating transportation to doctors,
support groups, and other related appointments

- Finding a job
- Locating job training programs
- Applying to Social Security
- Applying for Social Services financial
programs

| Food/Nutrition |
- Obtaining food from a local food pantry
- Applying for Food Stamps
- Receiving nutritional supplements

| Housing/Utilities |
- Finding a place to live
- Applying for assistance with rent
- Applying for assistance to pay utility
bills
- Arranging for free furniture, or clothing,
if needed

| Medical Care |
- Helping locate appropriate health care
providers
- Helping communicate with doctors and
other health care providers
- Applying for Medicaid or Medicare
- Applying for a special program which
pays health insurance premiums

| Medications |
- Applying for a Health Department program
to get some free medications
- Applying for Medicaid to pay for medicines
- Notifying of new drug trials
- Finding home nurses to assist with
intravenous medications
- Finding additional funds to pay for
medications

get their support
- Referrals to local support groups
